We are SO glad you are here!
You might be wondering what SNAP! is? Firstly we are a community, one that is committed to bringing the best in education and inspiration to our industry.
We do this through our events, the main one being in the Spring. You can call it a festival, retreat or maybe a conference but ultimately it is an experience designed to inspire you as a photographer/creative and change your business for the better as well as give you some new friends for life.
Expect education for your business, inspiration for your photography, a beautiful community and a safe space to grow and connect.
Make a new friend. Share an old story. Feel inspired by a uniquely magical experience. Something clicks into place that wasn't there before.
Attend any of our paid events and you immediately become part of the SNAP community, with access to photography workshops and photographer meetups throughout the year!

At the core of SNAP is diversity and equality. Our community is special. We focus heavily on inclusivity, accessibility and we welcome anyone into our fold with open arms.
We are also striving to change the face of education in our industry.
Tired of seeing a lack of diversity in lineups, we strive to find new voices from all walks of life who all have so much to offer but may not have been given the opportunity to share their insights before. We want to create a space where people from marginalised groups don’t feel excluded and can see themselves represented in our educators.
We believe that SNAP offers the possibility to create a uniquely valuable learning experience. Learning happens in workshops and talks, through engagement with speakers and other attendees in an informal setting, through support and advice in the SNAP community Facebook group and through community collaborations.
All we ask of newcomers to our community is that they treat their fellow photographers with respect, uphold our community standards and operate from a place of tolerance and kindness. We do a lot to make sure newcomers feel welcome, including plenty of free community events throughout the year.

Who we are.
We are Ami, Rosie (& Silent Angela); a team of 3 women who jumped at the opportunity to take over the SNAP! brand in 2021 because we wanted to make a positive impact on our amazing industry through good quality education, bags of inspiration and a thriving community of diverse photographers.
Ami Robertson.
Rosie Holman.
Ami is head honcho and a well established brand and wedding photographer as well as an educator. With a career that has spanned 12yrs, she is passionate about the photography industry and seeing it thrive which is why taking over SNAP! was the perfect next step in her journey! A strong advocate for diversity and inclusivity, Ami wants to use the SNAP! platform to elevate others in her industry and bring the very best in education from previously unheard voices. Aside from work and business, Ami loves her horse and nature - two big reasons SNAP! is more of a festival/retreat than conference. Ami uses her platform to openly discusses various challenges and struggles that she and many people face when they are self employed, especially mental health.
Rosie isn't a photographer - but that is exactly why we wanted her on board! Rosie is a very talented singer and performer who has worked in the wedding and events industry for over 10yrs. Rosie's career has seen her in pubs, clubs, occasionally boats and a fair few theatres which is why she has the perfect skill set for SNAP! Between Ami's specialist photography knowledge and Rosie's event experience, they pretty much have all bases covered. Except those covered by Silent Angela...
Angela is SNAP's silent partner and Ami's ever supportive Mum who has a background in finances and banking. While Angela doesn't have a front and centre role in SNAP she is very much a huge background support and always on hand. Angela will be attending the festival as, despite her nickname, she loves a get together!
