Oh, hi, SNAP 24 speakers!*

Jess Rose

Jess is a wedding and portrait photographer based in London (but she’s Welsh at heart) and currently writing up a PhD on 'participatory film-making with survivors of Domestic Abuse'.

Jess works primarily with LGBTQ+ and Feminist couples. Broadly, she’s inspired by the concept of liveness and experiential practices of performance art. In particular, works that happen in public, as well as protests; electric moments that briefly rupture the day-to-day happenings of the street, before disappearing. Jess loves the rush that comes from photographing a moment that won't be repeated.

Kate Bunny Hampson

Kate Hampson is a gen x punk from London, recently home after nine years in California. An ex-photojournalist and current music photographer, she blends aspects of both in her wedding photography. All her couples become rock stars in front of the camera.

Kate has been using analogue since her 6th birthday, when she momentously photographed the front door.

Stacy Oakley

Stacy is an award winning marketing specialist and founder of SO Engaged. After working in London for 15 years, helping brands of all sizes get more business online, she decided on a change of career path and started her wedding calligraphy business, SO Calligraphy in 2019.

Her own website quickly began to rank in Google and, after speaking with others in the wedding industry, she realised that there was a huge gap in knowledge (and confidence) around SEO in the sector. SO Engaged was born in 2021 as a result, and she has helped countless wedding businesses since.

Her goal is to demystify the world of SEO, and to inspire and empower wedding business owners to get their sites seen in Google.

When not creating wedding stationery or optimising websites, Stacy can be found in the gym, playing tennis, eating sushi or singing and dancing with her two daughters (ABBA is their current favourite!)

Giselle La Pompe-Moore

Her Philosophy of Doing Less, Being Present and Feeling More aims to democratise joy, healing and reflection as an antidote to distracted and disconnected living. In her work, Giselle explores how we can find meaning in everyday experiences, resist the pressure of productivity culture by slowing down, and unlearn sociocultural norms as a tool for liberation.

She facilitates therapeutic moments through group workshops, public art installations, talks, collaborations and her book Take It In. All with the aim of remembering what it means to be human, so we can better respond to the complexities of the world and create social change.
